Hey! I'm Mel the Artist behind Taylor Wilkinson Art.

I'm a wife and mum of a baby girl and 4 fur babies.
I feel so blessed to be able to do what I do, working from home means I get to spend every day with them all while doing what I love.

I was born and raised in the UK and from the age of 14 I followed my mums footsteps and became a hairstylist.

I moved to Dubai in 2011 and continued hairdressing full time until 2019 when I decided I should follow my heart and do what really makes me happy.

In 2021 our family moved to Austria where we now live happily in what feels like the set from the sound of music.

Aside from painting I love the simple things in life.

I enjoy yoga and have a real passion for running.

I love spending time in nature, listening to the birds, drinking coffee, eating too many pastries, and of course spending time with those I love most.

I draw my inspiration from everything around me, I love pretty things, I adore colour and have an obsession with painting people wearing pretty pink dresses!

My favourite thing about my job is that my paintings are usually bought as gifts to mark a special occasion or capture a beautiful memory.
When I hear how well received my artwork is it really fills my heart with so much joy. I put my whole heart into everything that I do and I hope that comes through in the art that I create.
